A two coat mortar finish can be presented over a modified sheetrock base which is figured to recognize the mortar wrap up. It is presented in 4″ X 8″ sheets, along these lines supplanting the brace and mortar base coats. The two most typically used sheets, much of the time insinuated as “blue-load up”, are USG Imperial Gypsum Base and Gold Bond Brand Kal-kor Plaster Base.
